The top pic is my classroom. Notice the beautiful job I did on the bulletin board today. The third picture is Sumner which is across the way. (Sumner is now grades 10-12 and we're all 9th graders)
The second picture is the main building. It's a separate building, so we'll have to walk the students across the street when they go to lunch and stuff. This building has the cafeteria, auditorium, principal's office, and three floors of classrooms which will be regular classes.
The fourth picture is my school, and the last picture is the entrance to my building (which I probably never would have seen this year if I didn't take a picture for you guys)
I'm in the experimental building. I'll have all girls this year. Girls on lvl. 1 and boys on the 2nd floor. I'm looking forward to this year (so far) I like the staff (including the principal), it's a smaller building, smaller rooms, I have A/C , a SmartBoard, and computers for the students (which I had none of at Roosevelt.) The only wildcard will be how bad these bad-ass girls are going to be this year.
I'll keep you updated, but hopefully it should be a good year.
Oh and our mascot is the tigers, so I'm thinking about getting a good tiger pic for my room.
(The pictures didn't post in the order they were in, in the editing, so I had to go back and change the opening descriptions, in case you were wondering why I went from 2nd to 4th etc.)

Congrats Brother...Those schools look awesome - You'll have to give me some locations so I can get a handle on where exactly. Sounds like a nice experiment for you and the girls. Aren't there studies showing improved aptitude and attention when genders are separated. A/C nice, computers are very 21st century and the "campus" setup sounds unique. Best of luck to you and your unsuspecting pupils. Give 'em the Chris's perspective.
